This morning, Xpeng CEO He Xiaopeng announced via social media that the 2025 model year Xiaopeng X9 will begin presales tomorrow at 2:00 PM.
As an annual update model, the 2025 Xpeng X9 sees minimal changes to its exterior design, with the primary focus on upgrading configurations and powertrain. The car is expected to adopt a pure vision-based intelligent driving system. Additionally, the all-wheel-drive version will introduce a lithium iron phosphate battery option, which could further reduce the vehicle's price.

According to information teased by He Xiaopeng, the key optimization for the new car revolves around the theme of "comprehensive upgrade, comfort is a must," with improvements made to zero-gravity seats, chassis, and NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness):
1. Previously, the center console and zero-gravity seats could not be accommodated together, but since users wanted both, we made changes—comfort is a must!
2. Users felt the chassis could be perfected even more, so we made changes—comfort is a must!
3. Users found the car not quiet enough while driving, so we improved it 360 degrees—comfort is a must!

From the filing information, the 2025 Xpeng X9 may offer a version with a pure vision-based intelligent driving system, replacing the previous laser radar placement with new decorative panels. The car will also feature new wheel designs. The body dimensions remain unchanged, with a length of 5,293mm, width of 1,988mm, height of 1,785mm, and a wheelbase of 3,160mm.
In terms of powertrain, both single-motor and dual-motor versions will offer choices between lithium iron phosphate and ternary lithium batteries. The single-motor version has a maximum power output of 235kW, while the dual-motor version has a maximum power output of 370kW.
