The Leapmotor B01 has officially been listed in the MIIT declaration catalog. Today, the company announced that the B01 will make its global debut at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 23rd, at the Leapmotor booth 6B11 in Hall 6.2 of the National Convention and Exhibition Center in Shanghai.

According to the declaration information, the vehicle's dimensions are 4,770 mm in length, 1,880 mm in width, and 1,490 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,735 mm.
It features the brand's signature design language, with a full-width LED light bar and split-type headlights. The three-dot lighting elements are shared with the Leapmotor B10.

The official configuration details have not yet been released. However, based on the B10, it is expected that the B01 will also be equipped with a Qualcomm 8295 chip for the intelligent cockpit, as well as a lidar and an 8650 intelligent driving chip, which can achieve automatic navigation assistance in highways and urban areas.
In terms of power, it adopts a single-motor layout and offers two power versions.
The peak power of the electric motor is 132 kW and 160 kW, respectively, with the corresponding maximum design speeds being 150 km/h and 160 km/h. It will be equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries from Zhongchuang Aviation Technology Group and Lingxiao Energy Technology.

Both the Leapmotor B10 and B01 are two new models based on the LEAP 3.5 electronic and electrical architecture.
The price of the B10 has already been lowered to 99,800 yuan. According to official data, within just one hour of its launch, the B10 received more than 10,000 pre-orders. Therefore, it is likely that the price of the LEAPMOTOR B01, which is also based on the same architecture, will be even lower.

According to the information revealed by Leapmotor at its partner conference, the B01 sedan is expected to be officially launched in July this year; another model, the B05, is planned to start pre-sales around the Guangzhou Auto Show in November; and the D-series models will be officially unveiled to the public by the end of this year.
