BYD's premium brand Yangwang Auto announced that its cumulative sales have exceeded 10,000 units, making it China's first million-yuan-level automotive brand to surpass this sales milestone.

Michael Yu, founder of New Oriental Education & Technology Group, became the owner of the 10,000th Yangwang vehicle, with Sales Division General Manager Helen personally delivering the car.

On November 8, 2022, BYD officially unveiled its high-end automotive brand, naming it Yangwang.
Today, Yangwang has launched multiple models covering different market segments.
Its current lineup includes the flagship sedan Yangwang U7, priced between 628,000 and 708,000 yuan; the new energy hardcore luxury off-roader Yangwang U8, starting at 1,098,000 yuan; and the new energy supercar Yangwang U9, starting at 1,680,000 yuan.
The 10,000th vehicle delivered was Yangwang's first model, the Yangwang U8.

Notably, the brand has also released images of the extended-wheelbase version, the Yangwang U8L, which will make its official debut at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show.

Judging from the official images, the front fascia remains largely unchanged compared to the standard Yangwang U8. The body features a black-and-gold two-tone design and is equipped with new full-disc-style wheels.
The vehicle's dimensions are longer than those of the Yangwang U8. Based on current predictions, the Yangwang U8L's length may reach 5,600 mm or 5,632 mm, potentially surpassing models such as the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and the Range Rover.
