Leapmotor has raised its full-year sales target from the previous 500,000–600,000 units to 580,000–650,000 units, with a goal of reaching 1 million units by 2026.
On August 21, Leapmotor announced that its cumulative deliveries have surpassed 900,000 units—just two months after passing the 800,000 milestone in mid-June. At the same time, the company made its debut on the Fortune China 500 list for 2025.

Just days earlier, on August 18, Leapmotor released its 2025 interim financial results. The company reported revenue of RMB 24.25 billion ($3.38 billion) in the first half of the year, up 174% year-on-year.
Net profit reached RMB 30 million ($4.18 million), compared with a net loss of RMB 2.21 billion ($308 million) in the same period last year—marking its first-ever half-year profit. Leapmotor thus becomes the second Chinese EV startup, after Li Auto, to achieve profitability on a half-year basis.
Driven by stronger-than-expected market performance, Leapmotor has revised its full-year guidance, shifting from a break-even target to projected profitability, with estimated net income between RMB 500 million and RMB 1 billion ($69.6 million–$139.3 million).
Delivery growth has been key to the company’s turnaround. In H1 2025, Leapmotor delivered 221,600 vehicles, up more than 155% year-on-year. From January to July, cumulative deliveries reached 271,800 units, representing nearly 150% growth compared with the same period last year.

July alone marked a historic milestone, with monthly deliveries surpassing 50,000 units for the first time. Leapmotor has now led China’s EV startup sales chart for five consecutive months and remains the only new entrant to exceed 50,000 units in monthly deliveries this year.
During its earnings call, Leapmotor management raised its full-year sales target from the previous 500,000–600,000 range to 580,000–650,000 units, while setting an ambitious goal of 1 million units in 2026.
New product launches are central to Leapmotor’s H2 strategy. Following the July release of the new C11 and B01, the B05 will debut at the Munich Motor Show in September and enter the Chinese market in November.

The B10 is scheduled for a direct launch during the same show. Meanwhile, the D Series is expected to make its first appearance as early as October, with a domestic launch projected for Q1 2026.
International expansion also remains a core growth driver. By the end of June, Leapmotor had established more than 600 outlets across roughly 30 overseas markets, with H1 overseas revenue reaching RMB 1.85 billion ($257.6 million), accounting for 7.6% of total revenue.
Looking ahead, Leapmotor plans to build a localized production facility in Europe by the end of 2026, with the B Series leading its rollout in the region.
