Li Auto’s 2025 L Series Launch: Enhanced Specs at No Extra Cost

On May 8, Li Auto officially launched its 2025 L Series models.

The refreshed lineup includes the Li L7, L8, and L9 models, while the L6 model was already launched earlier at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show. Full pricing details are as follows:

  • L6 Pro: ¥249,800; L6 Max: ¥279,800
  • L7 Pro: ¥301,800; L7 Max: ¥329,800; L7 Ultra: ¥359,800
  • L8 Pro: ¥321,800; L8 Max: ¥349,800; L8 Ultra: ¥379,800
  • L9 Pro: ¥409,800; L9 Ultra: ¥439,800

The pricing for the 2025 L Series models remains consistent with the 2024 models, but the series features significant hardware and software upgrades.

In terms of driving assistance, the entire L series is equipped with the ATL all – weather lidar co – developed by Li Auto and Hesai. An 8 – million – pixel long – focus camera has been added, and the driving chip has been upgraded to Horizon’s new Journey®6M, with a computing power of 128TOPS. This means better visibility, lower power consumption, and faster response.

All these hardware upgrades aim to support the rollout of Li Auto’s latest VLA driver model on AD Max vehicles by the second half of this year, elevating smart driving assistance. This will enable features like voice – controlled driving, automatic parking space – hunting, and license plate recognition for valet parking.

Moreover, the chassis of all L series models has been upgraded. The updated L9 features a dual – chamber, dual – valve Magic Carpet air suspension. It reduces body roll during turns by up to 24% and cuts nodding during take – off by 12%. The L7 and L8 models now come standard with dual – chamber Magic Carpet air suspension, boosting spring stiffness by 30%.

The Max versions of the L7 and L8 have been upgraded to a 52.3kWh battery, aligning with the Ultra versions for longer pure – electric range. The L7 Max now has a CLTC range of 286km, and the L8 Max reaches 280km under the same standard. The 20% – 80% charging time for the new L series has also been reduced from 30 to 25 minutes.

On the comfort front, the L9 now offers 18 – point hot stone massage, similar to the MEGA Home model. The rear screen has been upgraded to 21.4 inches, a roughly 86% increase in display area from the previous 15.7 inches.
