Breaking down by brand, the group showed significant internal divergence.

The Chery brand sold 135,551 units in January, up 4.6% year-over-year, becoming the only major brand to achieve positive growth and contributing 70.79% of the group’s total sales.

Jetour ranked second with 42,744 units sold in January, but this represented a 26.5% decline compared to 58,162 units in the same period last year.

Facing the challenges of the new year, Chery Group has established clear annual planning.

According to its 2026 strategic goals, Chery Group aims to hit a new sales peak of 3.2 million units, representing 14.03% growth over 2025.

To achieve this target, Chery plans to launch 17 key models in 2026, covering diverse segments from compact EVs to hardcore off-road vehicles.

It’s worth noting that in Q4 2025, the group already launched a wave of new products including the all-new Tiggo 8, the flagship six-seat SUV Fulwin T11, the hardcore off-roader Jetour G700, and the Exeed ET5 equipped with Horizon Robotics’ latest HSD ADAS, setting the stage for the 2026 product offensive.

Overseas markets will continue to serve as the growth engine.

Chery expects export sales to reach 1.5-1.6 million units in 2026, accounting for nearly 50% of total sales. In terms of production capacity, in addition to its Thailand plant, Chery’s largest ASEAN factory will officially commence operations in Hưng Yên Province, Vietnam in 2026, with planned annual capacity of 200,000 units.

In the European market, following successful entries into the UK and Italy, Chery plans to enter the French market in Spring 2026 with its Omoda and Jaecoo brands.
