- Pony.ai’s Robotaxi revenue surged 129% to RMB 116 million ($16 million) in 2025, powering overall growth.

Today, Pony.ai officially released its 2025 annual and fourth-quarter financial reports.
Financial data shows that Pony.ai achieved a total annual revenue of RMB 629 million ($88 million) in 2025, of which RMB 204 million ($29 million) was from the fourth quarter, marking four consecutive quarters of revenue growth. Currently, the company’s capital reserve reaches RMB 10.593 billion ($2 billion), an increase of RMB 6.41 billion ($897 million) from the end of the third quarter.
The Robotaxi business has become the core growth engine.
In 2025, the revenue from the Robotaxi business reached RMB 116 million ($16 million), a year-on-year increase of 129%; the full-year passenger fare revenue increased by nearly 400% year-on-year. The fourth quarter was particularly outstanding, with a single-quarter business revenue of RMB 46.6 million ($7 million), a year-on-year increase of 160%, accounting for nearly 40% of the full-year business revenue; among them, the passenger fare revenue increased by more than 500% year-on-year.
According to the financial report, Pony.ai has officially achieved positive per-vehicle operational profitability in both Guangzhou and Shenzhen. The highest daily average revenue per vehicle is RMB 394 ($55), and the highest daily average orders per vehicle is 25.
Regarding the expansion plan for the Robotaxi business, Peng Jun, CEO of the company, stated that in 2026, it plans to rapidly replicate the Robotaxi operation model in more than 20 cities around the world and expand its fleet size to more than 3,000 vehicles.
Currently, the mass production of the 7th-generation bZ4X Robotaxi is accelerating. Pony.ai stated that it has locked in the target of 1,000 units of the 7th-generation Bozhi model to be launched and put on the market soon.
Regarding Pony.ai’s Robotaxi profit model, in addition to the domestic market, overseas markets are also an important growth engine.
Today, Pony.ai, together with Uber and Verne, officially announced the launch of Europe’s first commercial Robotaxi service in Zagreb, which has already started initial deployment.
It is worth adding that Pony.ai’s European layout has been steadily advancing. After obtaining an autonomous driving test license in Luxembourg in April 2025, it launched Robotaxi road tests in July.
The tripartite cooperation model this time is as follows: Pony.ai provides the autonomous driving solution; Verne, as the fleet owner and operator, is responsible for specific operation and management; Uber integrates the service into its global ride-hailing network, forming a complement to Verne’s own user platform.
Currently, the three parties have launched road tests in Zagreb, using BAIC Arcfox α-T5 Robotaxi vehicles equipped with Pony.ai’s 7th-generation autonomous driving system.
Regarding the plan for the Robotruck full-scenario operation business, the mass production exceeds 1,000 units; the cost of the autonomous driving kit will be decreased by 70% compared with the previous generation, and the design life will reach 1 million kilometers, reshaping logistics efficiency through triple upgrades in technology, cost, and scenarios.
