By the end of August, Leapmotor’s cumulative deliveries for 2025 had reached 328,859 units, already surpassing its full-year 2024 total of 293,724 units.
On September 1, Leapmotor released its August delivery figures in China.

The data shows that Leapmotor delivered 57,066 vehicles in August, up more than 88% year on year. It was the company’s second consecutive month above 50,000 units, and the sixth straight month leading sales among China’s NEV makers.
On August 20, the company announced that its cumulative deliveries had surpassed 900,000 units. By the end of August, Leapmotor had delivered 328,859 vehicles in 2025, already exceeding its full-year 2024 sales of 293,724 units.

According to its semi-annual report, Leapmotor generated revenue of RMB 24.25 billion ($3.38 billion) in the first half of 2025, up 174% year-on-year. Net profit reached RMB 30 million ($4.18 million), marking the company’s first-ever half-year profit and securing it a spot on the Fortune China 500 list.
At its earnings briefing, the management raised its full-year sales guidance from 500,000–600,000 units to 580,000–650,000 units, while setting an annual net profit target of RMB 500 million–1 billion ($69.6 million–139.3 million). Leapmotor also set a new challenge for 2026: achieving annual sales of 1 million units.

On the product front, the Leapmotor B10, launched in April this year, has already delivered more than 50,000 units, becoming a key driver of sales growth.
In terms of new product plans, Leapmotor is accelerating its rollout. On social media today, CEO Cao Li announced that the Leapmotor Lafa5 (previously codenamed B05), positioned as a “new personalized strategy model,” will debut on September 8 at the Munich Motor Show, appearing alongside the B10.

At the Chengdu Auto Show, Cao also revealed that the Leapmotor D series, targeted at the RMB 250,000–300,000 ($34,800–41,800) price segment, will be unveiled in the fourth quarter of this year, with market launch expected in the first half of next year.
In addition, Leapmotor’s export performance has been equally robust this year. From January to July, the company exported nearly 25,000 vehicles, ranking first among new EV brands in overseas shipments.
