Li Auto i6 Priced Between 35k-42k USD, Targeting 30k Sales/Month

The Li Auto i6 is slated to hit the market and begin deliveries by the end of September. The new model is designed to meet the demands of younger users and is expected to become a volume-seller in the pure electric vehicle segment.

Li Auto’s third all-electric model, the Li i6, has officially entered its pre-launch phase. Positioned as a five-seat mid-to-large SUV, the i6 is tasked with driving volume across the brand’s EV lineup.

Industry sources say Li has told suppliers to plan for 25,000 units a month, while internal targets are more bullish—close to 30,000.

To reach that scale, Li has prepared on two fronts:

Product: the i6 will return to the “single hero spec” approach used for the Li ONE and L9, trimming variant count to one dominant configuration aimed squarely at a specific segment.

Marketing: instead of relying solely on word-of-mouth, Li is shifting to a refined digital system. A data-driven operations platform will track user profiles, leads and conversions end-to-end, enabling precise resource allocation and higher efficiency.

Whether the i6 can truly break through hinges on an aggressive price. On September 1, Li Auto officially teased that the price range of the Li Auto i6 will be set between 250,000 and 300,000 yuan(35k-42k USD).

Product details: the i6 rides on a native EV platform, measuring 4,950 × 1,935 × 1,655 mm with a 3,000 mm wheelbase and five-seat layout for generous cabin space.

Powertrains: rear-drive single-motor (250 kW) and dual-motor AWD (150 kW front + 250 kW rear). All versions pack new 5C LFP batteries co-supplied by CATL and Sunwoda, 800 V architecture, and a claimed 500 km of range added in 10 minutes.

CEO Li Xiang said on the Q2 2025 earnings call that the i6 is slated for launch and first deliveries at the end of September, aimed squarely at younger buyers and expected to become the brand’s volume EV.

As of 31 Aug 2025, Li operates 3,190 supercharging stations with 17,597 chargers nationwide. The target is 4,000 stations by year-end, further boosting the i6’s competitive edge.
