It is reported that the Dongfeng Nissan N7 and the Frontier Pro PHEV will be the first products to be exported overseas through this company.

Both models were developed locally in China. The Frontier Pro PHEV, as Nissan’s first plug-in hybrid pickup truck, was designed, developed, and produced in China, with plans for global export. The new vehicle’s plug-in hybrid system delivers a total power of 320 kW, combined torque of 800 Nm, and a pure electric range of 135 km, precisely targeting the currently under-competitive new energy pickup truck market.

Meanwhile, Nissan’s localization strategy in the Chinese market is accelerating, with the new model Dongfeng Nissan N6 set to officially begin pre-sales on November 13.

The Dongfeng Nissan N6 is positioned as a plug-in hybrid midsize sedan, built on the same platform as the all-electric sedan N7. It measures 4831 mm in length, 1885 mm in width, 1494 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2815 mm.

In terms of powertrain, it is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor, with a peak motor power of 155 kW. The interior is expected to continue the intelligent cockpit solution of the N7 and is likely to become one of the first Nissan models deeply integrated with Huawei’s HarmonyOS ecosystem.

Zhou Feng, Deputy General Manager of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., stated that the establishment of Nissan Import & Export Co., Ltd. marks Nissan’s entry into a new phase of development in China—”In China, For China, To the World.”
