Horizon’s next-generation intelligent driving solutions debut at IAA MOBILITY 2025 in Munich.
At IAA MOBILITY 2025 in Munich, Germany, Chinese autonomous driving chip company Horizon Robotics made its third appearance, unveiling the Journey™ 6 series computing solutions, the upgraded HSD urban assisted driving system, and updates on several international collaborations.

The HSD system built on Horizon’s Journey® 6P.
The Journey 6 series was the centerpiece of the showcase, offering computing power from 10 TOPS to 560 TOPS to meet needs ranging from basic driver assistance to advanced urban scenarios.
Its flagship product, the Journey 6P, is designed for next-generation urban assisted driving and supports large-model applications such as end-to-end and VLA. The HSD system built on this chip was also demonstrated, featuring an end-to-end architecture with enhanced learning capabilities that improve system responsiveness.

On the production side, as of August 2025, Horizon announced that total shipments of the Journey series had exceeded 10 million units, with partnerships spanning over 40 automakers and 400+ vehicle models. In China’s domestic market, Horizon ranks No.1 in shipments of both ADAS computing solutions and integrated front-view cameras.

Horizon has also established its European headquarters in Munich, aiming to support Chinese automakers in local deployment.
At the booth, the European version of NIO’s Firefly was on display, equipped with Horizon’s computing solutions. According to official data, Horizon has partnered with leading Chinese OEMs including SAIC, BYD, Chery, Great Wall, Changan, Voyah, and NIO, helping more than 25 models enter overseas markets across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Australia.

Horizon also announced ongoing collaborations with major Tier-1 suppliers such as Bosch, Continental, Denso, and Volkswagen’s CARIAD. Among them, the fourth-generation multi-function camera co-developed with Bosch and powered by the Journey 6B is expected to launch in mid-2026, while the joint venture with Continental has begun road testing across Europe to adapt to local regulations and driving habits.

Horizon is working closely with top global Tier-1s along with joint-venture and international automaker partners.
Since its debut at the Munich Auto Show in 2019, Horizon has evolved from a technology demonstrator to a company focused on mass production and global expansion. Crossing the 10-million-unit shipment milestone marks its entry into large-scale deployment, while the establishment of a European HQ and deeper collaborations with international Tier-1s signal an accelerated push into overseas markets.
