With production ramping up and deliveries accelerating, the MG4 is poised to break sales records and become one of this year’s electric dark horses.
On September 22, SAIC MG officially announced that the all-new MG4 had exceeded 10,000 deliveries within 24 days of its market launch.

The all-new MG4 made its official debut at the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show, offering 5 variants with a price range of 68,800 to 102,800 yuan.
As the first strategic model under MG’s “All in New Energy” initiative, the all-new MG4 incorporates three key technologies: an integrated thermal management system, batch production installation of semi-solid-state batteries, and a hand-to-car connectivity system co-developed by SAIC and OPPO.
The model received positive market feedback immediately after its launch. Official data shows that MG4 secured over 10,000 orders within just 39 minutes of opening for reservations. As of September 12, firm orders had exceeded 26,000 units within 15 days.
To meet strong market demand, MG also introduced a “Worry-Free Delivery Commitment”: customers who do not receive their vehicle within 39 days of placing a firm order will receive a cash subsidy of 50 yuan per day, up to a maximum of 2,000 yuan.
Meanwhile, the supply chain has responded proactively. It is reported that SAIC Passenger Vehicle’s production base has implemented a three-shift system to ensure full-capacity output in coordination with the supply chain.

As the market enthusiasm for the MG4 continues to grow, MG is also expanding its sales and service network in an orderly manner.
According to official information, MG plans to increase its dealerships to over 400 by the end of the year and will collaborate with OPPO Smart Mobility to set up 200 pop-up stores in shopping malls, covering more user scenarios. For after-sales service, more than 1,000 SAIC Maintenance outlets across the country will provide support to MG owners, offering full-cycle service assurance from purchase to usage.
Chen Cui, General Manager of the MG Brand Business Unit, stated that over the next three years, MG will invest 10 billion yuan in R&D and launch 13 new energy models, comprehensively covering the mainstream market segment priced between 100,000 and 200,000 yuan.
