As one of China’s strongest rising EV challengers, Leapmotor has sold over 900,000 vehicles across all models as of August 20. In August alone, the company delivered 57,066 units, up more than 88% year-on-year, marking six consecutive months as the sales leader among Chinese EV startups and setting a new monthly delivery record.

Leapmotor has also become one of the fastest Chinese EV newcomers to achieve profitability. In the first half of 2025, it posted a positive net profit for the first time, making it the second EV startup after Li Auto to reach this milestone.

Notably, Leapmotor’s market focus is no longer confined to China. The company has already expanded into more than 30 countries and regions across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific, with a global network of over 600 sales and service outlets. Europe is regarded as a core market in this expansion.

With the global debut of its flagship D19 scheduled for October 16, Leapmotor’s overseas strategy is increasingly aligning with its domestic momentum. This coordinated approach provides a strong foundation for Vice President Li Tengfei’s target of achieving 1 million vehicle sales in 2026.
