If the Hong Kong listing process proceeds smoothly, it will bring new momentum to the AVATR brand.
On September 23, according to Chinese media reports, AVATR Technology, jointly established by Changan, Huawei, and CATL, plans to submit its listing application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in the fourth quarter of this year and aims to complete the listing by the second quarter of next year.
Insiders revealed that AVATR’s progress toward its Hong Kong IPO has entered the final preparation stage, with the earliest possible submission of documents in October. Previously, relevant sources from AVATR indicated that CICC and CITIC Securities are the joint sponsors for the company, which plans to list in 2026.

AVATR’s listing plan has been in preparation for several months.
As early as March 2025, market reports suggested that Avat was considering a Hong Kong listing, aiming to raise approximately $1 billion (around HK$7.8 billion) and originally planned to submit its application as early as the second quarter of this year. According to the latest information, this timeline has been adjusted to the fourth quarter.
The accelerated progress of AVATR in the capital market is closely linked to its remarkable recent growth momentum.
Data shows that in May 2025, AVATR’s total sales reached 12,767 units, a year-on-year increase of 179%, setting a new historical record. In the subsequent months of June and July, sales were 10,153 units and 10,062 units, representing year-on-year growth of 117% and 178%, respectively. Although sales declined month-on-month in August, the three models—AVATR 06, 07, and 12—still contributed 9,394 units in sales.
AVATR Technology’s President, Chen Zhuo, revealed that the company is targeting monthly sales of 15,000 to 20, units and is making all-out efforts to achieve the annual sales target of 220,000 units.

In terms of vehicle lineup planning, AVATR has reached a milestone—becoming the first intelligent brand to complete a dual-power strategy across its entire product range.
According to the plan, AVATR will jointly launch five new models in 2026, covering segments such as mid-to-large five-seat SUVs and large six-seat SUVs. By 2030, AVATR plans to have launched a total of 17 models, forming a complete product matrix including sedans, SUVs, MPVs, and sports cars.
Meanwhile, under AVATR’s “Hainabaichuan” Plan, the company aims to enter over 50 countries and regions in 2025, establishing more than 160 sales channels, with an overseas sales target of 15,000 units. By 2027, the overseas sales target is set to increase to 60,000 units. By 2030, AVATR plans to enter over 80 countries with more than 700 sales channels.
If the Hong Kong listing process proceeds smoothly, it will bring new momentum to the AVATR brand.
