Xpeng Charging Stations Debut in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, Connecting Over 3,800 Chargers

XPeng has connected its charging services to a network of more than 3,800 chargers in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, covering over 30% of Singapore’s public charging market.

XPeng Motors announced on September 24 that its branded charging stations have officially gone live in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, providing localized charging services for its core 800V-enabled models, including the G6, G9 and X9.

XPeng’s charging service will be fully integrated into the network operated by Charge Plus, the largest charging provider across the three countries. This makes XPeng the first Chinese EV startup to achieve full highway network coverage simultaneously in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.

The newly integrated network includes more than 3,800 chargers, covering over 30% of Singapore’s public charging market as well as highway charging stations spanning approximately 5,000 km across the three nations.

In parallel, XPeng has also launched its first batch of branded charging stations in these markets, equipped with 350 kW ultra-fast chargers.

Local XPeng owners will benefit from exclusive charging discounts and can view real-time charger availability and navigate directly to stations via their in-car display systems.

The company added that by the end of 2025, XPeng owners in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand will be able to use a one-stop app-based solution for “plug-and-charge” with automatic payment upon completion.

In China, as of September 23, XPeng had built around 2,600 self-operated charging stations, over 80% of which are equipped with ultra-fast charging, with plans to expand to more than 3,000 stations by the end of 2025.

Chinese EV makers are racing to expand global charging networks. BYD said in July it will build its first batch of fast-charging stations in Europe within the next 12 months, prioritizing coverage of its dealership network.

NIO has already deployed 50 battery-swap stations and 19 charging stations across five European countries, while connecting to over 600,000 third-party chargers.

Earlier in April, XPeng also partnered with Plugsurfing to integrate access to over 850,000 charging points across 27 European countries.
