Bosch stands as the only supplier worldwide that simultaneously possesses high-level intelligent driving technology and has established a global regulatory compliance framework.
On October 17, Bosch officially announced the volume delivery of its mid-range intelligent driving assistance system.
This marks the official launch of the country’s first mid-range intelligent driving solution compatible with fuel-powered vehicles, breaking the industry norm where such systems primarily cater to electric vehicles.
The solution is built on the Journey 6E/M chips, delivering computing power of up to 80 TOPS or 128 TOPS. By integrating advanced BEV Transformer and occupancy network perception algorithms, it enables features such as highway navigation assist, memory parking assist, and smooth parking.
According to the company, this solution secured orders for over 10 models from five automakers, including Jetour, Dongfeng, and BAIC, in the first half of this year.

Leveraging Bosch’s global footprint, its first overseas project for the mid-range intelligent driving system is also set to enter mass production in the first quarter of 2026.
Currently, Bosch stands as the only supplier worldwide that simultaneously possesses high-level intelligent driving technology and has established a global regulatory compliance framework.
According to its 2025 product roadmap, Bosch has built a triple-line intelligent driving matrix covering low, mid, and high tiers: low-level L2 systems maintain leading market share; mid-range solutions are scaling up in delivery; and a one-stage end-to-end high-level solution has completed development and is ready for mass production.
Bosch stated that over the next three years, it will invest over €1 billion annually in intelligent driving R&D. The goals are to increase the adoption rate of mid-range solutions to 30% by 2027 and bring high-level features down to the RMB 150,000 (21,000) price segment, continuously expanding its lead in the “democratization of intelligent driving.”
