For this Hong Kong listing, the company globally offered a total of 88.25 million shares (pre-green shoe). After triggering the clawback mechanism, the public offering portion amounted to 17.65 million shares, while the international placement comprised 70.6 million shares. The shares were priced at HK$27.1 each, raising a total of HK$2.39 billion (pre-green shoe).

Founded in 2017, WeRide was listed on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange on October 25, 2024, becoming the world’s first Robotaxi stock and the first general-purpose autonomous driving stock globally.
Over its eight-year history, WeRide has become a technology company whose products have obtained autonomous driving licenses in seven countries, with applications covering over 30 cities across 11 countries.
Based on its self-developed WeRide One general-purpose autonomous driving technology platform, WeRide has deployed a five-pronged product matrix across three major application scenarios—smart mobility, smart freight, and smart sanitation. This includes Robotaxi, Robobus, Robosweeper, Robovan, and an ADAS solution.

Currently, WeRide is the only technology company in the world whose products hold autonomous driving licenses from seven countries: China, the UAE, Singapore, France, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, and the United States. Its L4-level autonomous driving fleet exceeds 1,500 vehicles, including over 700 Robotaxis. The company plans to deploy tens of thousands of Robotaxis by 2030.
In the ADAS field, WeRide, in collaboration with Bosch, has successfully achieved SOP (Start of Production) for a one-stage, end-to-end combined assisted driving solution, which is set to complete mass production within 2025.
It is reported that Dr. Han Xu, CEO of WeRide, officially signed a voluntary lock-up agreement on October 28, committing not to reduce his holdings of company shares for the next three years, demonstrating his confidence in the company’s future value growth.
