The model was officially launched on November 9, equipped with the GAC-Huawei Cloud infotainment system, featuring a large battery enabling 500-km range and supporting both charging and battery-swap modes.

The battery-rental vehicle price is RMB 49,900 ($7,025) and full-purchase pricing is RMB 89,900 ($12,656).

On the same day, Aion’s national first-tier retail stores and JD Auto Care’s Beijing comprehensive service center simultaneously began initial deliveries, officially activating the National Good Car Delivery Center network.

At the event, executives from JD, GAC and CATL responded collectively to users’ frequently raised questions regarding after-sales assurance and delivery procedures.

Addressing ownership of after-sales responsibilities, GAC stated that all service and warranty issues will be handled directly by GAC.

Regarding pickup timing and channels, GAC and JD noted that the car follows an online-offline integrated fulfillment model, with vehicle delivery expected within 2 to 4 weeks after the final payment is made.

GAC emphasized that for users placing orders before 24:00 on November 30, if delivery is delayed into 2026 due to production or logistics factors, GAC will fully subsidize purchase-tax costs.

On the build-out of the battery-swap network, Deng Xu, Vice President of CATL E-Services announced that by the end of this month, the Choco-Swap system will complete 1,000 swap stations across 45 cities nationwide, with around 980 stations already in the final construction stage.
