GAC Group November Sales: 179,700 Units, 31.4% from New Energy

In the NEV sector, the performance of GAC Group’s joint venture brands showed divergence.

On December 5, GAC Group released its production and sales data for November 2025.

The report shows that in November, GAC Group’s overall vehicle production was 187,500 units, a year-on-year decrease of 9.71%, including 57,556 units of new energy vehicles. Sales reached 179,700 units, down 9.72% year-on-year, with 56,422 units being new energy vehicles.

From January to November, cumulative production was 1.5791 million units and cumulative sales were 1.534 million units, representing year-on-year decreases of 7.62% and 10.80%, respectively. The overall performance continues to face market pressure.

Here is the production and sales breakdown for the group’s subsidiaries:

  • GAC Honda: Production of 37,571 units, down 16.03% year-on-year; sales of 41,366 units, up 5.68% year-on-year.

In the new energy vehicle sector, the performance of GAC Group’s joint venture brands showed divergence.

Overall, GAC Toyota has become a key growth pillar. Its pure electric SUV model, the bZ3X, delivered 10,010 units in November, marking the second consecutive month its sales have exceeded the 10,000-unit milestone.

The group’s proprietary new energy brand, GAC Aion, achieved sales of 38,326 units in November. Although this represents a 9.4% year-on-year decrease, it still reflects month-on-month growth. This improvement is attributed to the batch delivery of new models.

Data indicates that the Aion i60 has become a new growth driver, and the Aion UT, launched in early November, continues to generate significant discussion.

GAC Group’s November production and sales data, to some extent, reflects the common situation faced by traditional automotive groups: the contraction of the traditional internal combustion engine vehicle business during the comprehensive transition to new energy leads to overall sales volatility.

However, the strong growth in the new energy sector, represented by GAC Toyota’s BZ series and GAC Aion, demonstrates the effectiveness of its strategic transformation.
