- Zeekr will launch an updated 2027 7X in Q4 with new colors and an 85-kWh Golden Battery option.
- Zeekr is offering RMB 18,999 in free upgrade options to current 7X buyers to clear inventory.

On Sept. 3, Zeekr unveiled its update plan for the 7X.
The 2027 Zeekr 7X is due to launch in the fourth quarter. The overall exterior design will stay largely unchanged. New exterior, interior colors will be added. A new version will also feature an 85-kWh Golden Battery.
For reference, the current 2026 Zeekr 7X comes in three versions, priced from RMB 229.8K ($34,208) to RMB 269.8K ($40,159). The lineup includes a 75-kWh rear-wheel-drive Max at RMB 229.8K ($34,208), a 103-kWh rear-wheel-drive Max at RMB 249.8K ($37,182), a 103-kWh AWD Ultra at RMB 269.8K ($40,159).
Ahead of the 2027 model-year launch, Zeekr will keep three free options for current buyers.
The package is worth RMB 18,999 ($2,828). It includes an electric rear-seat sofa worth RMB 5,000 ($744), a smart temperature-controlled refrigerator worth RMB 2,999 ($446), 20-inch multi-spoke wheels worth RMB 11,000 ($1,637).
Zeekr has also added a limited-time choice of three purchase perks. Buyers can pick a five-year zero-interest financing plan, a RMB 10,000 ($1,488) final-payment reduction, or a “Selected Gift” package focused on sportier, more comfortable or more premium equipment.
The early disclosure of a model-year update gives existing owners, potential buyers more visibility into Zeekr’s product cycle. It can also reduce frustration among buyers seeing a model update shortly after taking delivery.
Keeping current-model benefits, purchase incentives could also help Zeekr clear existing inventory before the new model arrives. A similar approach has appeared with the second-generation Xiaomi SU7, with product updates disclosed ahead of launch.
The 7X is also a key model in Zeekr’s global expansion.
On Aug. 24, Zeekr said global orders for the 7X had surpassed 200K. The 200,000th order came from Mexico. Cumulative deliveries had already neared 180K as of Aug. 12.
Since entering Europe in May 2025, the 7X has expanded into more than 50 countries, regions worldwide. The model has ranked No. 1 in its segment this year in Mexico, Hong Kong, Australia, Malaysia.
Zeekr also opened pre-orders in South Korea in June. Orders topped 1,000 units within one month. The model is set for a full launch in the market later this year.
Zeekr has now built a global user base of more than 850K. The brand delivered 36,981 vehicles in August, up 109.8% YoY. January-August deliveries reached 251K units, up 100.4% YoY.
