BYD Ocean Network has introduced a “Limited-Time Flat-Rate Offer” for its Intelligent Driving Edition models, effective from today until June 30. Ten models, including the Seagull, Dolphin, Song PLUS, and Seal 06 DM-i, now feature exclusive pricing with discounts of up to ¥40,000. The updated pricing is as follows:

All discounted models are equipped with BYD’s “God’s Eye-C（DiPilot 100）” intelligent driving system, featuring 27 advanced functions such as nationwide highway navigation and automated parking, alongside the DiLink 100 smart cockpit system. Notably, the Seagull Intelligent Driving Edition—the world’s first A00-segment car under ¥70,000 to offer high-level autonomous driving—challenges the industry’s perception that “low-cost vehicles lack smart technology.”

This campaign reflects BYD’s proactive strategy amid intensifying competition. With a 2025 sales target of 5.5 million vehicles, BYD has achieved 24.6% (approximately 1.358 million units) of its goal in the first four months. However, rivals like Geely, which reported a 136% year-on-year surge in NEV sales, are closing in. By leveraging price adjustments and value bundling (including national and trade-in subsidies), BYD aims to accelerate market penetration without sacrificing profitability.

The promotion highlights BYD’s vertical integration capabilities, from its Blade Battery and e-Platform 3.0 to the DM 5.0 hybrid system, which collectively reduce costs while maintaining technological leadership. By democratizing premium features in mass-market price brackets, BYD continues to redefine competition in the EV era.
