On June 19, according to the “Zuiyizhuang” WeChat account, Xiaomi has officially secured the land for its Phase 3 factory on June 19, 2025. The plot spans approximately 727 mu (48.5 hectares) with a transaction value of CNY 635.040288 million ($88.32 million).
Designated as Class I Industrial Land with a 50-year lease term, the 485,000+ sqm site was acquired by Xiaomi Jingxi Technology Co., Ltd.

Public records show Xiaomi Jingxi Technology was established on January 18, 2022, and is wholly owned by Xiaomi Smart Technology Co., Ltd.
This follows the April 2025 completion of Phase 2 planning inspections for Xiaomi’s Smart Manufacturing Industrial Base – also developed by Xiaomi Jingxi Technology.

In 2024, Xiaomi purchased a 53-hectare plot in Beijing’s Yizhuang area for CNY 842 million ($117.11 million) to build its Phase 2 factory, scheduled for mid-year production. As reported by Bloomberg in March, Phase 2 will expand to ~105 hectares with an additional 52-hectare plot to meet surging order demand.
Phase 2 construction is in its final stages, with full completion expected in June and production launch as early as July. This will boost Xiaomi EV’s annual capacity to over 300,000 units. The Phase 1 factory currently has a designed annual capacity of 150,000 units, though optimized workflows have boosted actual output.
At this construction pace, groundbreaking for Xiaomi EV’s Phase 3 factory is imminent.
