Leapmotor B10 Officially Begins Global Road Testing

Leapmotor’s B10, an all-electric SUV, is undergoing global road testing across five continents for six months, focusing on performance and adaptability. It has sold 13,403 units by June 2025, expanding internationally.

According to official announcements from Leapmotor, its global model Leapmotor B10 has officially commenced a six-month global road testing campaign.

The testing program will span all five continents, covering more than 18 countries and regions, and will subject the vehicle to a comprehensive range of evaluations under various climate conditions, road complexities, and diverse driving environments.

The test conditions will include extreme environments such as high temperatures, freezing cold, high altitudes, and high humidity. Key testing dimensions include overall vehicle performance, range capability, intelligent system stability, and chassis adaptability.

The Leapmotor B10 is a compact all-electric SUV based on Leapmotor’s proprietary LEAP 3.5 platform architecture. It officially launched on April 10, 2025, with a starting price of 99,800 RMB($13,800 USD). Key features include:

  • CTC 2.0 (Cell-to-Chassis) battery-chassis integration technology
  • Full-domain 800V high-voltage silicon carbide fast-charging system
  • Advanced intelligent driving (AD) and smart cockpit system

The B10 is also the first globalized model based on Leapmotor’s “B Platform.”

As of June 2025, Leapmotor has sold 13,403 units of the B10, with total year-to-date sales across all models reaching 149,732 units. The company has now surpassed 800,000 cumulative deliveries.

In May alone, Leapmotor delivered 45,067 vehicles — a year-on-year increase of over 148% — marking the third consecutive month it has ranked No.1 among China’s emerging EV makers.

For brands like Leapmotor expanding into overseas markets, developing a vehicle that complies with regional regulatory standards and genuinely meets global user needs is essential.

To date, through its strategic partnership with Stellantis Group, Leapmotor has entered 23 mature markets, including the UK, Italy, and Australia, becoming the top Chinese NEV startup exporter from January to May 2025. Leapmotor now operates over 1,500 stores worldwide.
