July OTA for XPeng AI Tianji System Now Rolling Out to All Users

This upgrade focuses on three key areas: human-machine interaction, safety enhancement, and scenario-based experiences, delivering nine innovative new features.

On July 10, XPeng officially announced the full-scale rollout of the July OTA update for the XPeng AI Tianji system. This marks the ninth major OTA release for the AI Tianji system. The latest upgrade centers on human-machine interaction, safety protection, and scenario-based experience improvements, bringing a total of nine breakthrough features.

AI Intelligent Assisted Driving

• New Co-Pilot Mode: When NGP is engaged and driving below 60 km/h, drivers can take control of the steering wheel or accelerator pedal to enter “Co-Pilot Mode.” Releasing the controls restores NGP functionality.
• New Custom Parking: In unmarked parking areas, users can manually generate parking space outlines. The AI will automatically calibrate and adjust to the optimal position, assisting in completing the parking maneuver.
• Enhanced AEB Performance: Scene recognition and response capabilities have been optimized, improving the accuracy of warnings and triggers, enabling faster braking and broader scenario coverage.

AI Intelligent Cabin

• New AI Assistant “Xiao P” Deep Reasoning: Xiao P now gains significantly enhanced logical reasoning abilities, evolving into your intelligent personal advisor.
• New UWB Smart Car Key: Initially supporting most Apple devices, the system now offers more precise proximity unlocking and locking, with added support for touch-to-unlock functionality.
• New Pet Mode: Allow your pets to stay safely and comfortably in the car. When activated, the windows will close and lock, and the air conditioning will maintain AUTO mode with fresh air circulation.
• New Scheduled Remote Climate Control: Users can now set a run-time limit for remote AC functions such as on/off, rapid cooling/heating, and intelligent odor removal, supporting up to 60 minutes of continuous operation.

AI Intelligent Charging

• New Industry-First Smart Station Charging Recommendation: When entering the area of a “Smart Charging Station,” the system intelligently recommends the optimal charging pile and automatically lowers the ground lock for a smoother charging experience.
• New Smart Charging Port Cover Opening: At XPeng’s Smart Supercharging Stations, simply pressing the charging gun’s button will automatically open the vehicle’s charging port cover, eliminating the need to operate the touchscreen or app.

This OTA update covers XPeng’s core models including the P7i, G6, G9, and X9. Feature availability may vary by model. Users can access the update via the in-car system or the XPENG App (version 5.7.0 or later required).
