The new-generation IM LS6 debuts the “Stellar Range Extender” system, offering a combined range of up to 1,500 km.
On August 6, IM Motors released official interior images of the new-generation LS6.
Based on the images, the new LS6 has undergone comprehensive upgrades in cabin layout, screen configuration, space utilization, and craftsmanship details. It maintains the brand’s signature minimalist aesthetic while aligning more closely with everyday usage scenarios.
The most noticeable change appears in the center console area. The previously separated digital instrument cluster and central infotainment screen have now been integrated into a single floating 5K ultra-clear cockpit screen, enhancing visual experience. Reportedly, this screen also features a “rainy night mode” designed to improve usability in real-world driving conditions.
The front passenger seat now comes with a dedicated 3K immersive entertainment screen. With a larger size and clearer partitioning, it’s well-suited for long-distance movie watching and leisure.

As seen in the images, a row of physical buttons remains below the driver’s large screen to support blind operation. The center console includes dual wireless charging pads and two cupholders, while the space beneath the armrest has been hollowed out to allow for additional storage.
The steering wheel continues to offer both a full-circle and a YAT-style half-circle option, catering to different user preferences.

In terms of space and comfort, the new LS6 comes standard with Italian-designed POPO Sofa seats across all trims. IM Motors CMO Li Weimeng revealed the inclusion of a “Super Right Side” layout, expected to support more flexible usage modes. The company claims that the vehicle boasts a spacious rear seat area and a cabin space utilization rate of nearly 90%.

Additionally, the center armrest area now features a smart refrigerator with both cooling and heating capabilities—completing the trio of fridge, screen, and luxury seats to fully meet the demands of family travel.
The sense of interior luxury has been elevated through upgraded materials. The vehicle adopts a “Floating Golden Light” decorative panel technique combined with a floating speaker system, enhancing its refined and elegant ambiance.

Reportedly, the new-generation LS6 will feature the “Stellar Range Extender” system with a combined driving range of up to 1,500 km. It will also come equipped with the Lingxi digital chassis and a fully upgraded Momenta-assisted driving system. Pre-sales will begin on August 15, when more details about pricing and trim options are expected to be revealed.
