The ONVO L60 facelift is just around the corner — more exterior customization options, lower energy consumption, and the big question: will the price change?
NIO Day 2025 is set for September 20. In addition to the official launch of the all-new ES8, the event will also mark the first anniversary of the ONVO L60. It’s widely expected that William Li will announce details of the L60’s annual facelift and open pre-orders on stage.

ONVO CEO Shen Fei has previously said on Weibo that the facelift brings only minor changes and even suggested that those eager to take delivery should go ahead with the current model.

We also spoke with several ONVO L60 owners. Most felt the facelift mainly brings minor tweaks such as improved seat comfort and doesn’t really affect existing owners.
However, if the updated model ends up offering more features at a lower price, some owners admitted it could feel a bit bittersweet.
Based on information revealed so far, most of the changes focus on exterior styling and feature upgrades.
According to the July MIIT filing, the L60 will gain more exterior customization options, with wheel choices expanded from four to nine, including a new 20-inch multi-spoke design similar to the L90. Additional choices for bumper trim, side skirts, and wheel arches will also be offered.

Facelifts typically bring new color options, and rumor has it that a new shade will debut — though it’s unclear whether it’s a tweak to an existing color or a completely new addition.
Inside, the second-row seats will gain ventilation and there will be two new Nappa leather interior choices, plus the addition of the fold-out tray table from the L90’s rear right seat.

On the intelligence side, the ONVO L60 will add features like spatial Q&A, and its AI voice assistant will be further refined. William Li previously mentioned at a user meet-up that ONVO will adopt NIO’s driver-assistance system based on the distilled version of its world model, and this facelift may speed up its rollout.

Other updates include a blue-light filter for both the center screen and rear entertainment screen, standard integrated ETC, and improved energy efficiency: as low as 11.9 kWh/100 km for RWD models and 12.4 kWh/100 km for AWD models. These energy efficiency and smart driving upgrades will also be available to existing owners via OTA updates.
Overall, the facelift for the ONVO L60 is modest in scope, but because of NIO’s recent pricing strategy — making the 100-kWh battery pack standard across the lineup without raising prices — the gap between the L60 and the L90 has narrowed. The L90’s BaaS starting price is now just RMB 179,800, only around RMB 30,000 higher than the L60, so many are watching closely to see if the facelift will reset the price positioning of the L60.
