This collaboration between XPeng Motors and Alibaba Cloud marks the first application of this cutting-edge technology in the smart vehicle sector.

This technology is not only crucial for vehicle safety but also involves the entire intelligent transportation ecosystem. In the future, XPeng Motors plans to extend the application of post-quantum security encryption technology to areas such as AI, V2X, chips, robotics, and flying cars for security protection.

Currently, the all-new XPeng P7 has been equipped with post-quantum security technology, signifying that XPeng has taken the lead in implementing post-quantum security algorithm technology in vehicles.

In practical application, when users utilize the XPeng app to communicate with the cloud or the vehicle itself, the post-quantum encryption technology provides protection in real-time and unobtrusively. These functions are scheduled to be officially launched with the new version of the XPeng app in October this year.
