NIO’s ONVO L90 Hits 20,000 Deliveries Within 60 Days of Launch

The 20,000-unit delivery milestone comes less than a month after the L90’s first-month delivery of 10,575 units.

ONVO, the sub-brand of NIO Inc., announced on September 29 that cumulative deliveries of L90 have exceeded 20,000 units within 60 days of launch.

This milestone comes less than a month after the company disclosed first-month delivery figures. On September 2, ONVO reported that the L90 had delivered 10,575 units during its first full month on the market.

During a previous media briefing following the launch of the new ES8, NIO founder William Li said that, according to internal planning, monthly production capacity for the L90 is expected to climb to 15,000 units by October.

The L90 was officially launched on July 31, with deliveries beginning on August 1. The purchase price ranges from RMB 265,800 to RMB 299,800 ($37,270–$42,040), while the battery-as-a-service (BaaS) leasing model lowers the upfront price to RMB 179,800 to RMB 213,800 ($25,210–$29,990).

The vehicle measures 5145 mm in length, 1998 mm in width and 1766 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3110 mm. Designed with family use in mind, it is available in both six-seat (2+2+2) and seven-seat (2+3+2) layouts.

Interior features include a rear entertainment screen, fold-out tables, an onboard refrigerator, zero-gravity second-row seats and a fold-flat configuration that can form a “sofa bed,” covering frequent-use scenarios such as long-distance travel and family outings.

On the technology front, the L90 is equipped with a four-domain integrated central computing platform, featuring the 8295P automotive-grade cockpit chip and an Orin X chip for assisted driving. The model has a combined energy consumption of 14.5 kWh/100 km, comes standard with an 85 kWh battery pack and delivers a CLTC range of 605 km.

Notably, on the same day, NIO announced updated progress on its charging and battery-swapping infrastructure: more than 8,200 swap stations nationwide, including over 1,000 along highways. The network now spans the “9 vertical, 11 horizontal and 16 major metropolitan clusters,” covering 550 cities and more than 1,200 districts and counties across China. This early, capital-intensive infrastructure buildout is now underpinning rapid brand expansion and delivery capabilities.

As of the end of August, NIO’s cumulative vehicle deliveries totaled 838,036 units. Of these, the NIO brand accounted for 748,448 units, ONVO for 75,033 units, and firefly for 14,555 units.
