On October 24, XPeng officially released interior images of the X9 Extended Range (EREV) version, showcasing the new model’s interior design and configuration details.
As seen in the official images, the X9 EREV continues the classic T-shaped layout and features a two-tone interior of rose brown and quiet white.
The center console is designed with a full LCD instrument panel and a floating central touchscreen, presenting a clean and tech-forward style. Below the screen are dual cup holders and a dual 50W wireless charging pad, blending luxury with practicality.

The XPeng X9 EREV also offers generous comfort features in the cabin.
The interior is trimmed with imported Ayous real wood, with a total length of 4.2 meters throughout the vehicle, enhancing the overall premium feel. Additionally, the rear seats are equipped with AI aviation reading lights for the first time, supporting three-level brightness adjustment, 360° stepless rotation, and a color temperature range of 3500K–6500K.
Other luxury-enhancing elements include a 3.6-meter full-length ambient light strip on the ceiling and the X Free Breath microclimate air system, which features over 6,000 micro air vents to provide a gentle, draft-free breeze.
From the images, it appears the second-row seats will support zero-gravity mode and massage functions, ensuring a comfortable ride for passengers.

Yesterday afternoon, XPeng also unveiled a new color for the X9 EREV – Aurora Green, inspired by the shifting hues of the aurora seen during polar nights in the Arctic Circle.

Official powertrain details have not yet been disclosed.
However, according to earlier remarks by He XPeng, the X9 EREV will be XPeng’s first super-extended-range product and the only large seven-seater in the industry to combine a 63.3 kWh high-capacity battery with a 60-liter fuel tank, achieving a total range of 1,602 km.
Based on official information, the vehicle is expected to feature XPeng’s Kunpeng super-extended-range system, including a 1.5-liter turbocharged range extender with a maximum net power output of 110 kW. The X9 EREV will also support an 800V high-voltage platform and 5C ultra-fast charging technology.
