Li Auto CEO Li Xiang stated that the Li Auto AI Glasses are “Li Auto’s best AI accessory.”

Just one day before the official launch of the Li Auto AI Glasses, Li Auto announced that it has formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement with ZEISS.

According to the agreement, the two parties will engage in comprehensive collaboration across various fields, including the research and development of smart glasses products, optimization of eyewear services, joint technological innovation, and global market expansion.

As the first tangible product of this collaboration, all models of the Li Auto AI Glasses will come equipped with ZEISS lenses as standard, covering a variety of types such as myopia lenses, photochromic lenses, and sunglass lenses.

Li Auto CEO Li Xiang previously stated that the Li Auto AI Glasses are “the best AI accessory from Li Auto.” Additionally, Li Xiang revealed that a Li Auto AI Speaker is also under consideration, with the aim of achieving more comprehensive coverage of Li Auto’s AI capabilities among its users.

In terms of eyewear services, after users submit their prescription data on the Li Auto platform, the data will be transmitted to ZEISS’s prescription center in China. The ZEISS team will handle lens processing and quality inspection before shipping the product directly to users. This system significantly shortens the prescription processing cycle.

Furthermore, both parties will continue to invest R&D resources to jointly explore next-generation leading display lens technologies.

Regarding global expansion, Li Auto will leverage ZEISS’s extensive distribution network, which spans over 70 countries and more than 100,000 outlets, to jointly explore pathways for overseas market development.
