The incentive runs from December 10 through December 31. Users can purchase the package for RMB 1 ($0.14) through ONVO’s official accessories store.
On December 10, ONVO introduced a new flexible battery-upgrade incentive, following its earlier nationwide plan to double the number of battery packs at swap stations.
The company is offering a limited batch of 2,000 upgrade voucher packages for primary users of its 60-kWh standard-range models.
The campaign runs from December 10 through December 31. Users can purchase the package for RMB 1 ($0.14) through ONVO’s official accessories store.

Each package includes three high-value discount coupons, enabling total savings of up to RMB 1,000 ($140), covering long-distance travel needs from early next year through March 20.
The rollout coincides with the countdown to China’s Lunar New Year return-home travel surge. For NEV owners, long-distance energy replenishment remains one of the most pressing pain points during holiday travel.
In May, ONVO offered L60 users a “RMB 1 long-range upgrade,” allowing an upgrade from the 60-kWh pack to 85-kWh.

The newly launched RMB 1 voucher package further encourages users to proactively complete upgrades ahead of the Spring Festival, helping to ease queuing pressure from peak-season battery-swap demand.
On the supply side, ONVO is accelerating its battery investment plan launched in November. More than 800 additional battery packs have already been deployed, and the company plans to add over 8,000 new packs by mid-January.

Once completed, the number of ONVO batteries across the national swap network will more than double.
After the expansion, ONVO will operate roughly 15,000 battery packs nationwide across its 2,252 swap stations.
This equates to an average of 6.7 packs per station, meaning each station can support 6–7 consecutive swaps for ONVO vehicles.

In a recent interview, ONVO President Shen Fei emphasized that the company will not resort to aggressive price cuts to stimulate sales, instead relying on margin generated from day-to-day electricity-price fluctuations.
In provinces such as Zhejiang, each swap-station battery can earn approximately RMB 60 ($8.40) per day, equivalent to roughly RMB 20,000 ($2,800) annually. Nationwide, that figure averages RMB 12,000 to 13,000 ($1,680–$1,820).
ONVO delivered 11,794 new vehicles in November, up 132.1% year-on-year and accounting for 32.5% of NIO Inc.’s total deliveries for the month. Deliveries of the L60 reached 5,620 units, while the L90 posted 5,970 units.
