At present, GAC’s GOGY has released three eVTOL products, including GOVY AirCar, GOVY AirCab and GOVY AirJet.
GAC Group recently disclosed on an investor interaction platform that its first production-grade electric vertical take-off and landing (eVOLT) vehicle, the GOVY AirCab, has officially entered the airworthiness certification phase, with mass production and deliveries expected in 2026.

Positioned as a multi-rotor aircraft for sightseeing tourism and short-range point-to-point travel, the GOVY AirCab has already completed prototype deliveries in Beijing and Hong Kong.
When unveiled in Hong Kong in June, GAC announced that its official guide price would be capped at RMB 1.68 million ($235,200).
In terms of structure and materials, the AirCab emphasizes lightweight design. More than 90% of the airframe adopts aviation-grade carbon fiber composite materials, reducing overall weight by over 30% compared with conventional material solutions.

On performance and intelligent features, the GOVY AirCab adopts an overhead rotor configuration and gull-wing doors. Charging efficiency is a key highlight, with support for fast charging in 25 minutes and the ability to recharge from 50% to 100% in 15 minutes.
The AirCab features a two-seat cabin layout and is equipped with 5G connectivity and an intelligent assistant. It also integrates a redundant flight control and navigation system, full-process monitoring, and cloud-based self-diagnostics.
The eVOLT is designed to support L4-level intelligent driving capability, with computing power exceeding 500 TOPS and a maximum detection range of more than 300 meters.

Beyond the GOVY AirCab, GAC’s GOVY lineup currently includes two additional self-developed eVOLT vehicles: the GOVY AirCar and the GOVY AirJet, forming a three-product portfolio covering multiple mobility scenarios.
Among them, the GOVY AirJet, which targets intercity travel, completed full-aircraft rollout by the end of 2024 and is scheduled to enter commercial operations in 2028.
The GOVY AirCar, focused on integrated ground-air mobility, applied for an unmanned type certificate earlier this year and launched its airworthiness certification process in May.

GAC is also actively exploring application scenarios for flying vehicles in cultural tourism, emergency rescue, and logistics delivery.
The company plans to roll out flying vehicle pilot operations in two to three cities across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area by 2027.
In early November, another eVOLT developer, Xpeng Aridge, disclosed its latest progress at its 2025 AI Day. The company announced that its modular “Land Aircraft Carrier” eVOLT will enter large-scale mass production and deliveries in 2026, while also unveiling its fully tilt-rotor hybrid-electric aircraft, the A868.
