From January to November this year, BYD sold a total of 8,531 vehicles in Hong Kong, capturing a market share of 22.7% and ranking first overall.
BYD recently announced that cumulative deliveries of BYD- and Denza-branded new energy vehicles in Hong Kong have officially surpassed 20,000 units within three years.
Hong Kong actors Moses Chan and Aimee Chan were named the 20,000th BYD owners in the city, taking delivery of a Denza D9 at the DENZA flagship store in Kowloon Bay.

Since entering the Hong Kong market in 2022, BYD has delivered strong performance in the local electric vehicle segment.
In the first three quarters of 2025, BYD sold 6,878 EVs in Hong Kong, representing a year-on-year increase of 40.86%.
During the first half of the year, the company overtook Tesla to become the city’s top-selling EV brand, securing a 27% market share.
On the retail and service side, BYD has established 15 sales and service locations across Hong Kong, including 10 showrooms and five after-sales service centers, with network coverage continuing to expand.

Latest figures show that from January to November this year, BYD sold a total of 8,531 vehicles in Hong Kong, capturing a market share of 22.7% and ranking first overall. Tesla and Zeekr followed, with sales of 7,933 units and 2,515 units, respectively.
In the model rankings, the BYD Sealion 07 EV emerged as the best-selling vehicle, with cumulative sales of 5,264 units in the first 11 months of the year. The BYD Yuan UP ranked fourth, recording sales of 1,597 units.
Speaking at the delivery ceremony, Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division, said the company will continue to introduce a broader range of models to the Hong Kong market, spanning family vehicles, urban commuters, off-road SUVs, and higher-end new energy models.

BYD also plans to further strengthen its after-sales service network and charging infrastructure.
BYD’s advances in intelligent driving assistance are also shaping market dynamics. Official data show that in November, sales of BYD vehicles equipped with driver assistance systems reached 311,267 units, including 265,734 units under the BYD brand and 10,049 units under the Denza brand.
Models featuring the “God’s Eye (Dipilot)” ADAS have now achieved cumulative sales of more than 2.3 million units, generating over 150 million kilometers of assisted driving data per day.
