From January to November 2025, SAIC Motor sold 969,000 vehicles in overseas markets, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%.

Recently, the naming and delivery ceremony for the “ANJI FORTUNE” was held at Jiangnan Shipbuilding’s Changxing base. This vessel is the sixth 9,500-car capacity new ship delivered this year and the eighth ocean-going car carrier to join Anji Logistics’ fleet this year. It set sail on its maiden voyage and entered service on the very day of its delivery.

“ANJI FORTUNE” Enters Service

To provide additional context, Anji Logistics, founded in 2000, is a wholly-owned automotive logistics subsidiary of SAIC Motor. Its business covers vehicle logistics, supply chain, and international services.

It is reported that the newly delivered “ANJI FORTUNE” has an overall design length of 228 meters, a service speed of 18.54 knots, is classed by the China Classification Society (CCS), and possesses completely independent intellectual property rights.

With the delivery of the “ANJI FORTUNE,” the scale of Anji Logistics’ self-operated ro-ro fleet has reached 41 vessels. Its routes now cover eight international lines, including Europe, Mexico, South America, Western Europe, and Australia-New Zealand. By 2026, its annual self-operated transportation capacity for the ocean-going segment is projected to reach 600,000 vehicles.

SAIC MG’s 2025 European Sales Exceed 300,000 Units

The expansion of Anji Logistics’ fleet is driven by the development of SAIC Motor’s overseas business. Data shows that from January to November 2025, SAIC Motor sold 969,000 vehicles in overseas markets, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%. Just on December 20, SAIC officially announced that its MG brand’s 2025 sales in Europe had surpassed 300,000 units, marking the 11th consecutive year it has been the best-selling Chinese car brand in Europe.

It is worth noting that Anji Logistics not only serves SAIC itself but also undertakes transoceanic transportation tasks for other domestic brands like Chery, BYD, and Great Wall, creating a collaborative “sailing-out-together” effect.
