The Bestune Pony alone has sold over 104,000 units this year, accounting for nearly 60% of the brand’s total.
FAW Bestune announced on December 24 that its cumulative sales for 2025 reached 190,017 units as of December 24, marking the highest annual total in the brand’s 20-year history.

Based on current figures, FAW Bestune’s average monthly sales this year exceeded 15,800 units, with the overall sales pace running significantly faster than in previous years.
Looking at monthly performance, FAW Bestune sold 19,520 vehicles in November, up 15.4% YoY. Of these, new energy vehicle sales reached 15,793 units, up 16.1% YoY, underscoring NEVs as the brand’s primary growth driver.
From January to November, cumulative sales totaled 177,137 units, up 32.7% YoY, while cumulative NEV sales surged to 151,464 units, representing a YoY increase of 115.8%.
This also means that with only the first three weeks of December completed, FAW Bestune has already recorded 12,880 units in monthly sales, leaving further upside potential for full-year volumes with one week remaining in the month.
As a self-owned brand under FAW Group, FAW Bestune serves as a key pillar in the group’s new energy transition. Its current NEV lineup includes models such as the Bestune Pony, Yoyi 03, Yoyi 07, Bestune NAT, an all-electric MPV, and the Bestune E01.

Among them, the Bestune Pony has emerged as the core volume driver. The model contributed 57,863 units last year, accounting for nearly 40% of the brand’s roughly 150,000 total sales.
The Bestune Pony was launched on May 28, 2024, with a price range of RMB 26,900 to RMB 31,900 ($3,766 to $4,466).
On July 27 this year, the 2026 Bestune Pony was introduced with prices raised to RMB 34,900 to RMB 45,900 ($4,886 to $6,426), and the lineup expanded to five variants.

According to data compiled by ChinaEV Home, the Bestune Pony recorded sales of 12,905 units in November, bringing its cumulative sales in 2025 to 104,320 units.
The model accounts for nearly 60% of FAW Bestune’s total sales for January-November and ranked ninth on the NEV mini-car sales chart in November.
At the group level, FAW has set a target of more than 1.45 million self-owned NEV sales in 2025, with Hongqi responsible for 500,000 units and Bestune targeting 250,000 units.
As part of its capacity expansion strategy, FAW Bestune’s Yancheng plant is accelerating scale-up, with annual production capacity expected to exceed 150,000 units by the end of 2025.
In overseas markets, the Bestune brand is expanding around its NEV portfolio. Models including the Bestune NAT and Bestune Pony have entered mass export, reaching emerging markets across the Middle East, Latin America and Eastern Europe, with coverage now spanning more than 20 countries and regions.
