Deepal targets 2 million global sales by 2030, with overseas sales accounting for 35% and plans to launch 30 new models.
Deepal Motors has officially closed its Series C funding round, securing 6.122 billion yuan from Changan Automobile, Chongqing Yufu Holdings Group, and China Merchants Bank Financial Assets Investment.
The funding will be directed toward three key areas: new vehicle R&D, intelligent and electrification technology innovation, and global brand enhancement.
Deepal’s sales momentum continued throughout 2025.
The company’s global cumulative deliveries have surpassed 700,000 units, making it the top-selling new energy brand among state-owned enterprises. November global sales reached 33,060 units, maintaining above 30,000 for three consecutive months, with a 45.7% year-over-year increase for January-November.
Overseas markets have become a core growth driver, with models like the S07 and L07 successfully launched across five regions: Southeast Asia, Middle East & Africa, Central & South America, Eurasia, and Europe. The S05 alone has sold nearly 10,000 units overseas.
Chairman Deng Chenghao has set an ambitious target of 2 million global sales by 2030, with overseas sales accounting for 35%, and plans to launch 30 new models. This financing round will provide ample ammunition for Deepal’s product expansion and globalization efforts.
