Following the completion of the financing round, Aistland’s equity structure now includes the original shareholders, external investors and an employee shareholding platform.

GAC Group and GAC Aion’s combined stake has been diluted to around 70%, while retaining controlling ownership.

The newly raised funds will reportedly be used for next-generation pure-electric platform upgrades, mass production of the brand’s first production model, development of advanced intelligent driving systems, and expansion of nationwide sales channels.

In fact, cooperation between GAC and Huawei dates back to 2021, when the two companies initially planned to jointly develop intelligent vehicles based on GAC Aion models. However, the project did not materialize at the time.
