On June 25, XPeng announced that cumulative global deliveries of its X9 have exceeded 60,000 units, setting a new delivery-speed benchmark for new-entrant electric MPVs.
The large-size all-electric MPV reached the milestone roughly 18 months after its initial launch in early 2024.
The 60,000th X9 delivery ceremony was held at XPeng’s Airside showroom in Kai Tak, Hong Kong, attended by XPeng CEO He Xiaopeng.

The vehicle was handed over to well-known designer Alan Chan, alongside a visit to XPeng’s first self-built fast-charging station in Hong Kong.
The first-generation X9 was launched in January 2024, offered in four configurations with a price range of RMB 359,800–419,800 ($53,000–$61,800).
Entering 2026, XPeng accelerated product-cycle upgrades.
In March, the 2026 model-year all-electric X9 was launched, offering a maximum CLTC range of up to 750 km and standard 5C ultra-fast charging capability, with pricing starting from RMB 309,800 ($45,600).
A right-hand-drive version was subsequently launched in Hong Kong at HK$ 599,900 ($76,423), while Thailand introduced the model in March at a starting price of THB 2.399 million ($66,000).

On June 16, the XPeng X9 officially entered seven European markets including Germany, Finland, Norway, Iceland, Croatia, Slovenia and Hungary, marking the start of deliveries in the region.
Delivery momentum has accelerated significantly in 2026. By the end of January, cumulative deliveries had reached 51,897 units, making the X9 the fastest new-entrant MPV to surpass 50,000 units in the segment.
On March 24, XPeng delivered its 55,000th X9 during the Bangkok Motor Show period. The model crossed 60,000 units by June, reflecting a notably shortened ramp-up cycle.

From a market structure perspective, growth has not been limited to domestic demand. As global rollouts proceed in parallel, overseas markets are increasingly contributing incremental volume.
According to XPeng, the company had entered more than 60 countries and regions by the end of Q1, with 393 overseas sales and service outlets.
From Q2 onward, international revenue is expected to exceed 20% of total sales, with plans to launch four global models in the second half of the year and achieve sustained overseas monthly sales above 10,000 units in Q4.
Total XPeng deliveries also continued to grow, reaching 32,158 units in May, up 7.4% year-on-year and 3.6% month-on-month.
