Prior to this, the model had completed local adaptation and validation at Stellantis’ Mexico automotive engineering R&D and testing center.

The local certification process required over a year of multi-dimensional testing, including bespoke tuning for complex terrains and climates such as plateaus, deserts, and rainforests, as well as passing local regulatory certification.

The company stated that the B10 has completed all testing and entered the market validation phase, while the Leapmotor C10 and C16 will follow suit to cover more diverse scenario needs.
