- NIO's brand ASP jumped to RMB 443,000 ($65,250) in June, up ~16% month-on-month.
- ES9 ramped to 10,000 deliveries in 30 days, becoming NIO's priciest and highest-margin model.
- June deliveries hit a record 40,597 for NIO Group, with core brand volumes rising 50.1% year-on-year.
On July 6, NIO Vice President Ma Lin revealed that the average selling price (ASP) of the NIO brand reached RMB 443,000 ($65,250) in June 2026, up RMB 61,000 ($8,985) from May, representing a month-on-month increase of about 16%.
The increase was primarily driven by stronger deliveries of the brand’s premium models.
NIO delivered 21,908 vehicles under its core NIO brand in June, with the ES8 and ES9 emerging as the main contributors to sales.
The ES9, which entered its first full delivery month in June, played a particularly significant role.
Priced between RMB 498,000 ($73,350) and RMB 628,000 ($92,500), it is currently NIO’s most expensive mass-produced model and also its highest-margin vehicle.

Its delivery ramp has exceeded market expectations. Since deliveries began on May 28, the ES9 reached its 10,000th delivery in just 30 days.
This sets a new record for the fastest delivery ramp to 10,000 units among battery-electric SUVs priced above RMB 500,000 ($73,650) in China.
Meanwhile, deliveries of the six-seat walkthrough variant of the NIO ES9 have officially kicked off today, ahead of the original mid-July delivery schedule.
As the share of higher-specification variants continues to increase, the ES9 is beginning to make a more meaningful contribution to both the brand’s average transaction price and profitability.
The third-generation ES8 has also maintained solid momentum. Starting at RMB 468,000 ($68,930), the flagship SUV surpassed 120,000 cumulative deliveries on June 22.

It has ranked No. 1 in both the full-size SUV segment and the RMB 400,000-plus ($58,900) vehicle segment for six consecutive months, regardless of powertrain or vehicle category.
The new ES8 five-seat version is now available for pre-orders and is scheduled to launch officially on July 9, further expanding NIO’s premium product portfolio.
Together, the ES8 and ES9 are establishing a flagship SUV lineup covering the RMB 400,000 ($58,900) to RMB 600,000 ($88,380) price range.
Compared with its previous reliance on a single flagship model, the dual-model strategy is providing more direct support for NIO’s brand positioning, sales mix and profitability.
Compared with other premium automakers, NIO’s ASP now ranks among the industry’s highest.

According to company data, the NIO brand’s ASP stood at RMB 382,200 ($56,274.6) in May, exceeding Mercedes-Benz (including Maybach) at RMB 375,800 ($55,350), BMW at RMB 315,400 ($46,460), Aito at RMB 315,300 ($46,440), and Audi at RMB 270,600 ($39,860).
While traditional luxury brands have seen ASPs pressured by entry-level internal combustion models and increased retail discounting, NIO has continued to raise its transaction price through a richer mix of premium battery-electric vehicles.
The broader NIO Group also maintained strong delivery growth.
The company delivered 40,597 vehicles in June, up 62.9% year-on-year and 7.7% from May, marking its highest monthly total so far this year.
The core NIO brand accounted for 21,908 deliveries, up 50.1% year-on-year and representing about 54% of the group’s total volume.
In the first half of 2026, NIO brand deliveries reached 119,488 units, an increase of 60.5% from a year earlier.
