- ONVO marked 200,000 cumulative deliveries two years after launch, using rapid model introductions across family-segment sedans and SUVs to capture share from established domestic EV rivals.
- Deliveries: L60 reached 110,000 deliveries by Aug. 28; L90 topped 60,000 by July 31; L80 exceeded 10,000 within 46 days; ONVO delivered 8,763 vehicles in September.
- Targets and risks: Directly competes with mass-market EVs and benefits from NIO’s 9,559 charging and swap stations, but faces scaling, overseas rollout timing, and margin pressure from infrastructure reliance.
ONVO reached its 200,000th vehicle delivery on Oct. 8, with the milestone vehicle being the ONVO L90.
Since the first ONVO L60 deliveries in 2024, the brand has taken two years to reach 200,000 cumulative deliveries, putting its delivery growth rate among the top three new EV brands in China.

The ONVO brand was officially launched on May 15, 2024, targeting the family vehicle market.
Its first model, the L60, began deliveries in September 2024. On Aug. 28 this year, the L60 reached its 110,000th delivery.
On July 31, the ONVO L90 passed its first anniversary on the market with more than 60,000 cumulative deliveries.
Meanwhile, the ONVO L80, launched in May, has become another key sales driver for the brand.
Nationwide deliveries began the day after its market launch, and the model surpassed 10,000 deliveries 46 days after launch.

Battery swapping is one of the more notable differentiators between ONVO and other pure-electric models in the same price range.
ONVO directly shares NIO’s charging and battery-swapping network, which the company has invested more than RMB 20 billion ($2.98 billion) to build.
As of Oct. 8, 2026, NIO Power had a total of 9,559 charging and battery-swapping stations, including 4,167 battery-swap stations.
During the National Day holiday, NIO’s battery-swap stations completed 183,664 swaps on Oct. 5, a record high, with ONVO accounting for 30,782 of those swaps.

The energy replenishment network is also expanding beyond the NIO family of brands.
On Sept. 28, NIO and Geely announced a strategic cooperation agreement covering charging and battery swapping.
The two companies will pursue cooperation in technology, operations and capital, and jointly invest in the companies operating their respective charging and battery-swapping businesses.
In terms of sales, NIO delivered 37,408 vehicles in September, up 7.7% year on year and 4.3% month on month.
The ONVO brand delivered 8,763 vehicles during the month, bringing its deliveries for the first three quarters of the year to 70,191 units, a record high.
ONVO has also begun making a more concrete push into overseas markets. This year, the brand has entered Uzbekistan and Costa Rica.
Europe, however, is not yet on the immediate market-entry schedule.
NIO CEO William Li said during a meeting with European vehicle owners in mid-September that ONVO is expected to enter Europe in 2028 or 2029.
