- Firefly will unveil its sixth “Spiaggia” special edition tomorrow, embracing Southern Italian beach-inspired blue, white, and orange styling.
- The limited run likely features blue bodywork, white wheels, and orange cabin accents, turning optional features into standards.
- Firefly keeps prices near prior editions (~RMB135K) while using special editions to boost buzz and sustain sales momentum.
firefly has announced that its latest limited-edition model will debut tomorrow.
The official teaser video uses blue, white, and orange across scenes of seawater, sky, and beaches, creating a strong Southern Italian coastal holiday feel.

firefly calls the theme “spiaggia,” which means “beach” in Italian. The new special edition is therefore likely to draw on the aesthetic of Italy’s southern coast.
Based on previously leaked spy shots, the model is expected to feature blue bodywork with white wheels. Orange elements may also appear inside, giving the cabin a light, bright color scheme.

This will mark the sixth special edition launched by firefly.
Since the first “Nomadic Maillard Special Edition” went on sale in August 2025, firefly has launched five limited editions: “Night Creature” in October 2025, “Pegasus Rhapsody” in January 2026, “Millennium Wave” (Y2K Edition) in March 2026, and “Pixel Player” in June 2026.
These special editions typically use exclusive paint, wheel, and interior designs to create a distinct look. Some features offered as options on standard models are also made standard. Prices are usually higher.
With only one model in its lineup, firefly can use new colors, design themes, and feature packages to keep generating marketing buzz without adding another vehicle.

Limited colors and exclusive design also give each edition a stronger sense of exclusivity, adding extra emotional appeal for buyers.
The previous five special editions were priced at around RMB 135K ($20.1K). The sixth edition is therefore likely to stay within a similar price range.
firefly sold 5,717 vehicles in July, taking its first-seven-month total to 34,668 units.
By comparison, Smart sold 1,841 vehicles in July. Its best-selling single model was the Smart #1, with 894 units sold.
