- XPeng simultaneously launched GX and G9L across 11 Middle East and Africa markets, signaling a strategic push to convert dealership agreements into retail deliveries and international volume growth.
- In the UAE the GX flagship is priced at AED 299,000 (about $81,410) and the G9L is on presale at AED 259,000 (about $70,500); GX already secured nearly 4,000 pre-orders before pricing.
- The move targets premium EV buyers versus legacy and regional rivals, but execution risks include scaling delivery logistics, sustaining margins overseas, regulatory approval and local service network rollout.
On November 3, XPeng announced that its new technology flagship models, the GX and G9L, went on sale simultaneously this Monday across 11 markets in the Middle East and Africa.
In the United Arab Emirates, the flagship version of the XPeng GX is priced at AED 299,000 ($81,4100), while the G9L has a pre-sale price of AED 259,000 ($70,500).
Before the official announcement of overseas pricing, the GX had already secured nearly 4,000 orders in the Middle East. The model has now entered large-scale cross-border shipment and delivery.

On the distribution front, XPeng has recently finalized dealership partnerships in several markets across the Middle East, Africa and the Western Balkans.
Around October 27, the company announced dealership agreements with local partners in Nigeria, Oman, Kuwait and Albania.
Geographically, Oman and Kuwait are both members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Nigeria is the most populous country in West Africa, and Albania is located in the Western Balkans.
The agreements were signed between September and October. The deal with Albania was signed in Guangzhou on September 1.
Those with Nigeria and Oman were concluded in Dubai in late September. The Kuwait agreement was finalized locally on October 26.

Over the next year, XPeng plans to expand its presence to more than 20 countries across the Middle East and Africa, with a network of over 100 sales and service outlets.
With the GX and G9L now on sale, the company’s local operations are moving beyond dealership expansion toward actual vehicle deliveries.
Overseas markets have become an increasingly important contributor to XPeng’s recent delivery performance.
In October 2026, XPeng delivered 50,237 new vehicles worldwide, up 22% month on month and 20% year on year. Monthly deliveries exceeded 50,000 units for the first time, setting a new record.

Overseas deliveries totaled 13,326 units, up 166% year on year and also a monthly record. They accounted for approximately 26.5% of the company’s total deliveries.
XPeng is also extending its overseas expansion into other Asian markets.
According to South Korean media reports on November 3, the company plans to enter the South Korean market.
It has appointed Lee Man-sik, a former head of business at Volvo Cars Korea, as general manager of its South Korean subsidiary.
