This morning, XPeng officially launched the “Smart Driving Assistant Assurance Package”, priced at 239 yuan per year, with a maximum compensation of 1 million yuan.
The package remains valid for 5 seconds after NGP disengages.
XPeng states that its smart driving assistant assurance has four major advantages:
- It covers both driving and parking scenarios, offering comprehensive protection;
- There’s no limit on the number of claims;
- It covers the top five insurers for easier access to rights;
- All XPeng models and series can enjoy the service.
Starting today, after purchasing XPeng insurance (compulsory insurance + commercial insurance), vehicle owners can purchase the package via the XPeng APP – Service – Insurance Service – Smart Driving Assistant Assurance.
According to J.D. Power’s research, 43% of consumers refuse to use assisted driving due to concerns about accident liability.
