Today, Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi Group, announced via Weibo that Xiaomi Auto’s first SUV model, the YU7, will officially debut at 19:00 on June 26 (this Thursday).
Simultaneously unveiled is the YU7’s new color option—Dawn Pink. Inspired by the golden sunrise over snow-capped mountains at dawn, the finish features a pink base coat layered with light gold metallic flakes.

Lei Jun stated that the YU7 will offer 9 color options across categories: sports car shades, fashion hues, luxury tones, and classic colors. Dawn Pink belongs to the fashion series.
To date, Xiaomi has officially revealed 5 paint colors for the YU7: Lava Orange, Cambrian Gray, Titanium Silver, Emerald Green, and Dawn Pink.

On May 22, Xiaomi’s first SUV, the YU7, made its official debut. Positioned as a “luxury high-performance SUV,” the YU7 offers many standard features across all variants:
- Range: All variants feature ultra-long range; the standard model achieves up to 835 km (CLTC).
- ADAS: Standard equipped with the latest Thor chip (700 TOPS) and LiDAR.
- Performance: Maximum output of 690 PS, 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.23s, and a top speed of 253 km/h (157 mph).
These specifications have made the YU7’s final pricing a focal point of public interest.

On June 3, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun disclosed at an investor conference that the rumored price of 235,900 yuan ($32,809) is “ruled out” for the YU7. The official price will be confirmed 1–2 days before sales begin.
For reference, the starting price of its direct competitor, the Tesla Model Y, is 263,500 yuan ($36,648). Based on the pricing strategy of Xiaomi’s SU7 sedan, the YU7’s starting price may fall below 263,500 yuan ($36,648). The final price will be subject to the official announcement.
