Li Auto Announces New Appointments and Establishes Integrated Intelligent Vehicles Group

Li Auto has integrated its former “R&D and Supply Group” and “Sales and Service Group” into the newly established “Intelligent Vehicles Group”.

President Ma Donghui will lead the Intelligent Vehicles Group as its head, reporting to Chairman and CEO Li Xiang.

On the afternoon of June 27, Li Auto announced a new organizational restructuring and personnel appointments.

The former “R&D and Supply Group” and “Sales and Service Group” have been integrated into the newly established “Intelligent Vehicles Group.” This group will be responsible for the strategic planning and operational execution of Li Auto’s intelligent vehicle business.

President Ma Donghui will lead the Intelligent Vehicles Group, reporting to Li Xiang, Chairman and CEO. Li Xiang will continue to oversee teams related to product lines, product departments, branding, and strategy for the automotive business, while dedicating more focus to the AI (artificial intelligence) field.

This will build a leading advantage for Li Auto’s next phase of development. As a co-founder of Li Auto, Ma Donghui led the R&D team in successfully developing and delivering all models from the Li ONE and L-Series to the MEGA. He also successfully established several leading technology platforms, including Extended-Range Electric (EREV), High-Voltage Pure Electric, Intelligent Space, and Intelligent Driving, which now serve as the solid foundation for Li Auto’s intelligent vehicle strategy.”
