According to BYD’s release, BYD delivered 373,626 units in August 2025, YoY ≈ +0.15% (flat YoY), MoM +8.6% (vs Jul), cumulative 2,863,876 units (YTD Jan–Aug).
August rebounded vs July, aided by both domestic promotions and strong overseas shipments (BYD reported ~80k exports in Aug). However, YoY growth for the month was essentially flat — an early sign that BYD’s torrid expansion is encountering tougher comparables and market headwinds.
