Amidst sales pressure, whether the Li Auto i6 can become a volume-seller in the pure electric segment is critical for Li Auto.
On September 19, Li Auto officially released interior official images of its all-new large five-seat all-electric SUV—the Li Auto i6.
At the same time, Li Auto CEO Li Xiang stated in a post: “The sense of ‘Home’ will join the sense of ‘driving control’ and the sense of ‘fashion,’ becoming the third mainstream choice in the five-seat SUV market.” This also hints that the interior space and configuration of the Li Auto i6 will feature multiple designs centered around the concept of “Home.” Let’s take a closer look.
The two interior official images released this time focus on showcasing the design details of the rear seating area of the Li Auto i6.
From the images, it can be seen that the rear seats of the Li Auto i6 adopt a 270-degree wraparound design, with wide soft armrests on the left and right door panels. The middle seat, when folded down, provides two cup holders and a phone storage compartment. Additionally, when the front passenger seat is moved forward, it offers a dedicated footrest for the right rear passenger.

To further enhance comfort and entertainment, the Li Auto i6 is equipped with a 21.4-inch ceiling-mounted folding screen at the rear. This is likely not a standard feature across all variants. As seen in the images, models without the ceiling screen will feature a panoramic glass roof with an electric sunshade, providing users with multiple options.
To ensure rear privacy, the Li Auto i6 will come with manual sunshades. Other comfort features include a dual-zone refrigerator (for both cooling and heating), metal-finish speakers, and ambient lighting strips on the door panels.
Although the front interior design of the Li Auto i6 has not been fully revealed, it can be vaguely seen that the front row will continue the family design language, aligning with the Li Auto i8’s interior. It will feature two equally sized screens for the central control and front passenger, along with a center console area equipped with two wireless charging pads and dual cup holders.
Officials have revealed that the Li Auto i6 is positioned in the 250,000 to 300,000 yuan price range. This pricing strategy differentiates it from the Li Auto i8 while avoiding direct price competition with the Tesla Model Y and Xiaomi YU7.

The Li Auto i6 is scheduled for official launch and delivery on September 26. Whether this new model can shoulder the responsibility of being Li Auto’s volume-seller in the electric vehicle segment and become a key driver for the brand’s electric sales growth remains to be seen.
