Geely Holding Group delivered 1.02 million vehicles in the third quarter, including 590,000 NEVs, up 59%.
On October 13, Geely Holding Group released its sales results for the first three quarters of 2025, posting total deliveries of 2.953 million vehicles, a 29% increase from a year earlier.
New energy vehicles (NEVs) accounted for 1.59 million units, up 68% year on year, lifting NEV penetration to 54%—both total and NEV volumes marking all-time highs.

In the third quarter alone, Geely delivered 1.02 million vehicles, up 28% from a year earlier and topping the one-million mark for the first time on a quarterly basis. NEV sales reached 590,000 units in the quarter, up 59%, with NEVs representing 58% of total sales.
Listed subsidiary Geely Automobile Holdings contributed most of the growth, selling 2.17 million units in the first nine months, an increase of 46%.
Its NEV portfolio—including the Galaxy series, Lynk & Co and Zeekr—delivered 1.17 million units, up 114% year on year.
Among individual brands, the Galaxy lineup emerged as the standout performer, with sales jumping 206% to 875,000 units in the period.
The new Galaxy M9, launched on September 17 with a starting price of RMB 173,800 ($24,450), secured more than 23,000 firm orders within 24 hours.

Lynk & Co and Zeekr continued to grow steadily, delivering 240,000 and 140,000 units respectively in the first three quarters, supported by successive launches of the Lynk & Co 10 EM-P and Zeekr 9X.
On the internal-combustion side, the Geely China Star series sold more than 910,000 units, rising 5% despite broader market softness.
Overseas markets also provided momentum. Geely’s exports approached 300,000 units in the first nine months, with NEV exports in September alone nearing 15,000 units, accounting for 36% of outbound shipments.
Volvo Cars, another Geely-controlled brand, delivered 510,000 vehicles globally in the same period, including 227,000 NEVs, bringing NEV penetration to 44%. Polestar sold 44,000 units, up 36.5% year on year.

In the commercial vehicle segment, Geely’s Farizon New Energy posted deliveries of 107,000 units, an increase of 49.5%.
Geely also accelerated its international rollout in September. The Geely EX5 opened pre-orders in the UK, the Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i — marketed in Australia as the STARRAY EM-i—entered the Australian market, and the Zeekr 7X launched in the UAE.
Currently, Lynk & Co has expanded into three new European markets—the Czech Republic, Austria and Switzerland—extending its regional footprint.
