Geely Auto aims to achieve annual sales of 100,000 units in the UK market by 2030.
On October 23, the Galaxy E5 (marketed locally as the Geely International EX5) officially launched in the UK market.
The Galaxy E5 is offered locally in three trim levels: SE, PRO, and MAX, with a price range of £31,990 to £36,990.

The new vehicle comes standard across all trims with a 15.4-inch central control screen and front seat heating. All versions are equipped with a 218 hp electric motor and a 60 kWh battery pack. It offers a WLTP range of 255-267 miles (approximately 410-430 km), supports DC fast charging, and can charge from 30% to 80% in just 20 minutes. Additionally, the top-tier MAX trim adds premium features like front seat massage and a 16-speaker audio system.
To meet European market demands, Geely has made targeted adjustments. The Galaxy E5’s chassis and powertrain systems were tuned by Lotus Engineering. Lotus engineers conducted comprehensive testing on public roads, race tracks, and slalom courses, making customized improvements based on European road conditions and customer driving habits.
In the UK market, the Galaxy E5 will compete directly with models like the Volkswagen ID.4, Kia EV3, and Skoda Enyaq.

It is worth mentioning that, to promote the development of new energy initiatives in the UK, local customers purchasing the E5 will also receive a complimentary home charging station worth £499 or a £500 charging credit.
The launch of the Galaxy E5 in the UK market is a key step for Geely Group in accelerating its layout in the European electric vehicle market.

According to the plan, Geely Auto aims to achieve annual sales of 100,000 units in the UK market by 2030. To this end, Geely will establish a nationwide network of 100 sales and service outlets by 2026, complemented by a comprehensive parts supply and after-sales system.
Prior to entering the UK market, Geely Auto had already established operations in 12 European countries, including Poland, Greece, and Croatia. The company stated that within the next five years, it plans to launch 15 new models in Europe and establish over 1,000 sales outlets.
